Education Courses in the New Year

If you're interesting in becoming more involved in your union, here is a list of upcoming courses offered in Vancouver at the PSAC Vancouver Regional Office - 5238 Joyce Street, Vancouver, BC (Map)

Click here for a full listing of courses offered in BC. You will be reimbursed for expenses including child care if required. Details on reimbursement for courses can be found here. You will be reimbursed $50 by PSAC, $25 by our component, the Union of National Employees (UNE) and $25 by the Local, or $100 total, for each full weekend day you attend a course. Please contact a member of the executive for more details.
Update: Effective January 1, 2013, the PSAC reimbursement has increased from $25 to $50 per day, bringing the total daily reimbursement to $100.

Talking Union Basics and Grievance Handling are two of three prerequisites to becoming a union steward; the third is Understanding and Interpreting the Collective Agreement, which should be offered in the Fall. We can always use more representation.

Standing Together

Welcome to the new website of PSAC 20150.  The goal of this site is to provide information for you the member and also a place to interact with other members and your elected officials.

We are launching this website during National Public Service Week in celebration of our members and the services we provide to communities.  PSAC is boycotting employer NSPW because it is not okay to celebrate when 70 members of our own local have received affected letters.

Read PSAC National President Robyn Benson’s message on NPSW here.

In Solidarity,

Marion
Local President
